The Nuggets were one of the last three unbeaten teams in the NBA, but all good things must come to an end.Facing the team they eliminated in the first round of the 2023 playoffs, the Nuggets had their first true dud of the 2023-24 season in Minnesota. L.A. County Sheriff's vehicles targeted on 210 Freeway

Authorities are searching for an assault with a deadly weapon suspect or suspects in connection with several objects thrown at Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department vehicles on an L.A. freeway Wednesday.The first incident occurred at around 2:30 p.m. on the westbound 210 Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol who responded to the scene. A short time later, CHP received a second call at around 2:45 p.m. of a similar incident, again on the 210 Freeway.  According to LASD, three of their Transit Service Bureau patrol vehicles were hit in the windshield as they were on the 210 Freeway between the Sierra Madre Metro Station and the 605 Freeway.  Authorities did not say exactly what the objects were, but in a post to social media said they believed the objects were thrown intentionally.  A photo obtained by KTLA shows significant damage to the windshield of at least one of the vehicles. 4 arrested for beating elderly woman in Santa Monica robbery

Four suspects were arrested after allegedly beating an elderly woman and stealing her purse in Santa Monica on Tuesday.The suspects were identified as:- Kejon Stevenson, 24- Jacob Pugh, 19- Two unidentified 17-year-old boysSanta Monica police responded to reports of a battery on the 1200 block of Lincoln Boulevard around 9:50 p.m.Arriving officers found a 79-year-old woman “suffering from a blow to the head and other injuries.” She was transported to a local hospital for injury treatment.The four armed suspects had taken the victim’s purse and drove away in a Kia sedan. 15-year-old Palo Alto girl reported missing

(KRON) -- The Palo Alto Police Department is searching for a missing 15-year-old girl. The girl, who police just identified as "Claire," left her home on the 700 block of Chimalus Drive Tuesday night at about 8 p.m. and has not been seen or heard from since. Claire is 5-foot-4, 115 pounds. She was wearing a black sweatshirt and gray sweatpants. She does not have a phone on her. Anyone who sees Claire is asked to call (650) 329-2413.
