DENVER (KDVR) -- The countdown is on for Taylor Swift fans in Colorado, but for some, securing tickets was a nightmare.  Joe Akmakjian, along with more than 300 fans across the country, has joined together in filing a lawsuit accusing Ticketmaster’s parent company of anticompetitive conduct. The lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles County, California, claims the company has portrayed “a scheme by forcing fans to exclusively use it for presale and sale prices which are higher than what a competitive market price would be.” “I think what we want to see is transparency and an end to this monopoly and predatory behaviors of Ticketmaster,” Akmakjian said. Akmakjian lives in Denver and grew up listening to Taylor Swift.  Ticket scam warning issued ahead of Taylor Swift concerts “You can be anyone and find something relatable in her music,” Akmakjian said. Akmakjian said securing tickets for the concert in Denver was tough, even with a special code from Ticketmaster's presal...

High country still dealing with snow, soggy conditions

Loved ones remember Boulder woman killed in climbing accident

DENVER (KDVR) -- Friends of a woman who died in a climbing accident Sunday described her as a fixture in the Boulder community. Bailee Mulholland, 26, was a Boulder native who graduated from Boulder High School and the University of Colorado Boulder."She knew exactly who she was. She's a mountain person that loved living in Boulder and was very grateful for being from there," Tim Watts, who has been climbing with Mulholland for years and considers her more like family, said. "You can do everything right and everything can go wrong."Mulholland died while free-solo climbing in Rocky Mountain National Park on Sunday, the park said in a release Monday.She was climbing on the Four Aces of Blitzen Ridge when she fell approximately 500 feet, according to the release. Commemorative flags once again up for discussion in Carlsbad

Thai police arrest 2 German suspects in the abduction and killing of a German businessman

BANGKOK (AP) — Thai police have arrested two Germans in connection with the abduction and slaying of another German, whose dismembered body was found in a freezer in a southern Thailand home, authorities said Wednesday.A 52-year-old German man was apprehended Tuesday evening in Bangkok, and a 47-year-old German woman turned herself in to police earlier in the day, according to the Khaosod newspaper, citing Tawee Kudthalaeng, the police chief in the town of Nong Prue where the victim’s body was found.Reached by The Associated Press, Tawee confirmed the arrests and said the two had been charged with murder. NEW DELHI (AP) — Electronics giant Foxconn backed out of a $19.5 billion semiconductor joint venture with Indian mining conglomerate Vedanta Ltd. due to “external issues unrelated to the project.”Hon Hai Technology, known internationally as Foxconn, and Vedanta Limited announced their joint venture to manufacture chips and display panels in India in February 2022. On Monday, Foxconn announced it mutually agreed to part ways with Vedanta Limited. “This is not a negative.
