ST. LOUIS - Our skies have been hazy the last few days, a result of wildfire smoke from dozens of fires burning in western Canada.The British Columbia Wildfire Service said they have 300 firefighters and over 130 structural protection firefighters employed to tackle the blaze, and the next 48 hours are critical.The jetstream is responsible for carrying the smoke from those wildfires to the Midwest, leading to a hazy sky despite low cloud cover. ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo - Last weekend's downpour flooded many homes, roads, and businesses in south St. Louis County. Now some tenants at a self-storage facility are learning their units flooded and that clean-up is underway.The site in question is the Public Storage service facility on Reavis Barracks Road in Mehlville. Some of those items were saturated with rain. Now tenants are trying to go through the units to see what is salvageable.Anthony Mulls said he spent the day sorting through his prized possessions and provided photos of his family's belongings that were in several feet of mud and water in the storage unit.“I opened it up, and all the beds, doll's houses, everything what we got in there was gone," he said. "General Hospital" actress Haley Pullos faces DUI charges after authorities said she was involved in a violent wrong-way crash in Pasadena late last month.The accident occurred on April 29 when, according to a California Highway Patrol report, Pullos drove the wrong direction on the 134 Freeway and collided head-on with another vehicle near the Orange Grove exit.Both Pullos, 24, and the other driver were hospitalized with serious injuries.Authorities say Haley Pullos was driving in the wrong direction on the 134 Freeway in Pasadena when she collided with another vehicle. The body of a man was pulled from a backyard swimming pool in Encino Thursday afternoon. Personnel with the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to calls of a water rescue in the 17100 block of West McCormick Street just after 3 p.m., authorities said in a news release. Sky5’s Gil Leyvas reported that first responders attempted life saving measures after getting the man out of the pool, but they were unable to resuscitate him. In Tuesday's loss against the Nuggets, James scored 26 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and dished out 9 assists.
